About Charles Hall
Charles Hall spent a lifetime of interest in classical music before he began teaching violin to individuals of all ages. He took a special interest in the very young children using the Suzukimethod of teaching and striving to make lessons for his students fun and interesting. When he was unable to find fiddle tunes for his students he developed the Fairfield Fiddle Farm books.
His students, some as young as four and five years old, enjoy playing this type of music. Now, his enthusiasm for teaching youngsters and theSuzuki method is
almost unbounded. He tells how quickly small children can learn to play and brags of one nine-year-old student who was accepted into the Wisconsin Youth Symphony after only two years of lessons.
Charles taught hundreds of students of all ages through out Sauk County for 15 years. He founded the Fairfield Fiddle Farm. The Wisconsin State strings Museum honored Charles as the 1993 Inspirational Musician of the year.
